The certification level and label of EcoT PET (FTTS-FP-193):

It can be classified into three levels:
(1) 1A: Treasured Grade, referred to as EcoT 1 PET
(2) 2A: Treasured & Trusted Grade, referred to as EcoT 2 PET
(3) 3A: Treasured, Trusted & Traceable Grade, referred to as EcoT 3 PET

Treasured: Polyester should be recycled as it is a precious resource
Trusted: Polyester is trustable after testing and verifying
Traceable: The source of polyester is transparence and traceable

Treasured PET

EcoT 1 PET (level 1A) is a mark honoris causa prepared by the Taiwan Committee for Conformity Assessment of Accreditation and Certification on Functional and Technical Textiles for the recycled polyester products.

Semi-finished and finished products with the label should pass the specified requirements (FTTS-FP-193). This represents that they are eco-friendly (recycled), energy-saving and carbon-reducing, low environmental impacts, etc.

Companies who have obtained the label must make various requirements for the recycling process of recycled polyester.

Treasured & Trusted PET


EcoT 2 PET (level 2A) is an excellent mark honoris causa prepared by the Taiwan Committee for Conformity Assessment of Accreditation and Certification on Functional and Technical Textiles for the recycled polyester products.

Semi-finished and finished products with the label should pass the quality and specified requirements (FTTS-FP-193). This represents that they not only perform what EcoT 1 PET (level 1A) has, but their quality is also reliable, etc.

Companies who have obtained the label must make various requirements for the quality and recycling process of recycled polyester.

Treasured & Trusted & Traceable PET

EcoT 3 PET (level 3A) is the highest mark honoris causa prepared by the Taiwan Committee for Conformity Assessment of Accreditation and Certification on Functional and Technical Textiles for the recycled polyester products.

Semi-finished and finished products with the label should pass the most stringent specified requirements (FTTS-FP-193). This represents that they not only possess what EcoT 1 PET (level 1A) and EcoT 2 PET (level 2A) have, but their products are also traceable, etc.

Companies that have obtained the label must make various requirements for the transparency, quality, and recycling procedure of recycled polyester.
